Prickly pear oil - a natural lifting effect, a breakthrough in anti-wrinkle care.

The prickly pear - a plant from the cactus family - comes from hot regions of Latin America, Europe and Africa. The fruits are harvested once a year, after drying in the sun, their flesh is hollowed out to extract tiny, extremely valuable seeds. It is from them that the - currently the most expensive in the world - absolutely unique oil (not to be confused with the cheap opuntia macerate available on the market) is pressed. The process of pressing seeds is extremely time-consuming and expensive. To obtain a liter of oil, about a million seeds are needed from almost 500 kg of fruit.

What distinguishes the single-component fig opuntia oil from others is its unique composition: high (90%) content of Essential Fatty Acids, including over 60% of Omega-6, as well as the most active form of vitamin E (gamma-tocopherol). In addition to valuable acids and vitamins (A, E, F, K), it also contains minerals (calcium, potassium, phosphorus, magnesium, iron and zinc).

Properties of LORIENT fig opuntia oil:

How to use: 

Natural oils are recommended for night skin care. They can be used on the face, neck and decolletage. For oily skin, they can be used on skin moistened with flower hydrolate. Prickly pear oil is perfect for the care of the eye area and places with deep expression lines.

Use on hair: on damp hair, 1 hour before washing.

For treatments: perfect for face massage and for preparing clay masks. It works great when used under an algae mask with hibiscus (natural lifting effect). For prickly pear oil set (night care), we recommend a day cream with prickly pear oil and collagen.
